It saddens us with deepest sorrow to inform you of the untimely death of our beloved friend, cyclist, National Team Member and Executive Committee Member the Late Mr. Mohammed Kazibwe who passed away this morning of 22nd/May/2017 due to an acute myocardial infarction (heart attack).
A father and husband,the late Mohammed Kazibwe was survived by his wife and 2 children in his home district of Mukono where they lived in Nsuube Village.
As the single founder member of Nsuube Cycling, he was a pioneer in the starting up and setting up the cycling sport and the famous competitive Cycling Club of Nsuube Cycling in Mukono District which was the first cycling club in rural Mukono.
Burial was held at his ancestral burial grounds in Namataba in Mukono District today 22nd/May/2017at a small family memorial service where family and friends of Uganda Cycling were all present to bid him final farewell.
Another Uganda Cycling Memorial Service will be held for him later this month in memory of him during the bye elections for his seat which fell vacant after his passing to elect another Member of the Committee to represent the Interests of his club,his people cycling and Uganda Cycling as a whole.
